The Telling

In this story, Observer Sutty is sent to the remote city of Okzat-Ozkat on the planet Aka to study a hidden cult practicing a banned religion, amidst a society where traditional scripts have been erased and only corporate-approved narratives remain. Her mission is to report on the local tales and songs in order to facilitate cultural "re-education." However, Sutty's journey leads her to unexpected discoveries that challenge her perceptions and assumptions.
