River of Darkness

Set in 1921, this story follows the investigation of a brutal murder at a Surrey manor, where multiple victims are found stabbed with little sign of a struggle. While local police consider robbery as a likely motive, Detective Inspector Madden from Scotland Yard suspects the involvement of a dangerous psychopath. Drawing on his wartime experiences, Madden aims to uncover the dark truth behind the crime before the killer strikes again.
