Dead Batteries

In a post-apocalyptic world, single mother May and her autistic son Davis fight to survive in a harsh and unwelcoming environment, relying on routines, a cozy library nest, and Davis’s comforting Game Boy. When they encounter a stranger offering a chance at community, May must navigate trust and uncertainty as her old life begins to collide with new dangers. This debut novel delves into themes of resilience, survival, and the lengths a mother will go to protect her child amidst the chaos.
