Scarlet Town

Disgraced former Foreign Office clerk Laurence Jago and his employer, journalist William Philpott, return to Cornwall seeking peace but quickly become entangled in a tense local election. When suspicious deaths occur among the town's limited electorate, Laurence is drawn into an investigation that uncovers longstanding rivalries and hidden secrets, putting his family and loyalties to the test.
