Sublimation

Sublimation explores the complex lives of emigrants who leave behind different versions of themselves, with some maintaining contact while others build separate paths. When Rose is summoned back to Korea after her grandfather’s death, she uncovers motives that threaten to alter her life forever. Blending themes of doppelgängers, corporate intrigue, and emotional betrayal, the story offers a compelling look at longing, identity, and the high stakes of reconnecting with one's roots.
