In "Authorized," Mark L. Ward, Jr. explores the enduring impact of the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, which has influenced church practices and the English language for over 400 years. He examines the challenges modern readers face due to the evolution of English since the 17th century and argues that many who rely solely on the KJV may miss vital interpretations of Scripture. Drawing on insights from the KJV translators, Ward advocates for Bible translations that resonate with contemporary audiences, ensuring that God's word is accessible to all.
