The Way It Is is a cult spoof audio series that aired on BBC Radio 4 from 1998 to 2002, blending satire and sketches to critique media and politics. Hosted by newscasters Richard Richard and Lolly Swain, it features a colorful cast of bumbling reporters, including a celebrity-snoop journalist and an overzealous weatherman, who navigate the headlines and antics of the nineties and early noughties. With a comedic take on various topics like leadership battles and sports failures, this lively show will resonate with fans of similar programs such as Have I Got News for You and Dead Ringers.
