Mother Country

In Mother Country, a young Palestinian American woman navigates her complex relationship with her mother, exploring themes of sacrifice, resilience, and reinvention. As she reflects on inherited trauma and her own journey as a wife and mother, she grapples with emotional distances shaped by tradition and expectation. This evocative narrative is part of Good Intentions, a collection that delves into the fierce love and fears that define motherhood, crafted by award-winning authors, including New York Times bestselling writer Etaf Rum.
