The Quarry Girls

In Jess Lourey's gripping novel set in Minnesota in 1977, two best friends, Heather and Brenda, are drawn into a web of small-town secrets after witnessing something dangerous during a summer night. When their friend mysteriously disappears—marking the second girl to vanish in a week—Heather’s determination to uncover the truth grows, despite the community’s reluctance to investigate. As she delves deeper, she realizes that danger lurks closer than she ever imagined, and that not everyone around her can be trusted.
