Shakespeare's Timon of Athens

In this abridged adaptation of Shakespeare's "Timon of Athens," the story critiques wealth, greed, and betrayal through the life of Timon, a once-generous aristocrat whose lavish spending earns him friends—until his fortune dwindles. Stripped of his wealth and abandoned by those he helped, Timon faces a harsh reality in Athens before taking on a significant role despite his destitution. Presented in plain English and featuring a full cast, this 20-minute theatrical production offers an accessible glimpse into one of Shakespeare's more controversial and complex characters.
