Lady of Fortune

In Lady of Fortune, Comtesse Marie-Christine D'Estelle flees the chaos of the French Revolution for London, where she disguises her noble origins to work as a lady's maid after facing financial hardships. Her chance encounter with Captain Lord Alexander Kingsley, who has returned home to support his family, leads to a blossoming attraction between them, complicated by their differing social statuses. As Christa integrates into the Kingsley household and captures the hearts of its members, external threats test their bond and the truth of her identity. Will love prevail against the odds?
