The Good Samaritan

"The Good Samaritan" is a child-friendly catechism designed to introduce young people (ages 6-12) to the core teachings of the Orthodox faith in an accessible and engaging manner. Structured around life’s journey from paradise through redemption, it explains key aspects of the church, holy tradition, and the sacraments, emphasizing prayer, fasting, and almsgiving as vital spiritual practices. Combining insights from Father Michael Shanbour’s experience, the book offers a versatile resource for use with children, families, and catechists, fostering a foundational understanding of Orthodox Christianity.
